About Will Bell

Will Bell has proudly called Greenville home for nearly 15 years—and he’s no stranger to public service. A husband, father, professional, and community leader, Will is running for the Greenville City Council At-Large seat to continue building a city that works for everyone.

Will is married to Larkins, a Greenville native, and together they’re raising their three young children: William (3), and twins Wade and Joyner (4 months). As a father of young children, Will’s commitment to Greenville’s future is both personal and long-term.

Will previously served three terms on the Greenville City Council, where he built a reputation for being thoughtful, pragmatic, and accessible. During his tenure, he served on the City’s Audit Committee, helping to oversee Greenville’s financial accountability and transparency. Will is proud of the record low tax rate passed by the council during his service—a reflection of the common-sense, fiscally responsible approach to policy that defined his time in office. Whether it was managing growth, investing in public safety, or supporting infrastructure improvements, Will always put practical solutions and people over politics.

Will began his public service on the Greenville Planning and Zoning Commission, where he served for 1.5 years before running for office. He’s also been actively involved with the Young Professionals of Pitt County, where he helped promote civic engagement and leadership development for the next generation of local changemakers.

Outside of public office, Will remains deeply connected to the community. He organizes and leads “Sanitary Sundays,” a monthly clean-up effort in the University Neighborhood that brings residents together to improve the appearance and livability of one of Greenville’s key areas.

Professionally, Will works full time in sales leadership for a global company, where he leads teams with a focus on strategic growth, collaboration, and results. He is also an entrepreneur in real estate and small business, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities facing Greenville’s business community.

Will Bell is running to bring steady, proven leadership back to the City Council—leadership rooted in experience, service, and a real connection to the people of Greenville. His vision is simple: a city that grows responsibly, listens to its residents, and delivers on the basics with integrity.
